Our Süral Green gardens were established in Manavgat District of Antalya, the heart of agriculture, one of the hottest and sunniest regions of our country, and avocados are grown on an area of 270 decares.
The avocados we produce are Fuerte, Zutano, Bacon and Lamhass varieties. There have been avocados in our garden since our establishment, production has continued for 30 years and new saplings join our production adventure every new year.
We produce in a total of 270 decares in our gardens located in different places within the borders of Manavgat - Serik. We collect an average of 500,000 fruits.
The avocado varieties we produce are more common than other varieties in our country and at the same time create great demand.
Our harvests cover the months of October-November-December and January. While our harvest continues, domestic market marketing is also carried out. Quality control standards are followed throughout the growing period in our garden.
Avocado cultivation is a process that requires attention and meticulousness. We grow our avocados with natural methods and sustainable agricultural practices in the perfect conditions provided by the Mediterranean climate. In this process, we constantly follow the most up-to-date agricultural techniques and scientific information to accurately meet the needs of the soil and the plant.
We prefer natural and biological methods in the fight against pests and diseases. Biological control is carried out in production, and we have adapted our health-friendly struggle against Crytolaemus montrouzeri (hunter insect) and Leptomastix dactylopii (hunter bee) to our production approach for the last 23 years. We keep our products healthy by keeping the use of chemical pesticides to a minimum and using methods that do not harm the environment and human health. In addition, determining the harvest time correctly and collecting avocados in their freshest form is an important part of obtaining quality products.
During the avocado growing process, we aim to contribute to both the environment and society with sustainable agricultural practices. Therefore, we work to leave a livable environment to future generations by using natural resources effectively and efficiently.
